Day 2153 Tuesday 6th September
Took a day off to visit Thomas Jefferson Monticello home, was a warm sunny day, walking the gardens and cemetery was great after so may hours sat on the bike. Most interesting and awful was the talk on the slave lab our that was used. Ironic as Jefferson always said all men are created equal, some more than others apparently. He was unusual as he did free some after like fifteen years… Only nine though while there were six hundred on the plantation.
